The owners of this neo classical home had a long, relatively narrow and under-utilised Living room. Dual aspect so lovely & light but not exploited to its full potential. Part of the brief was to have a home working space that wouldn’t detract from the Lounge area & be sympathetic to the classic, feminine feel of the room. It’s a lovely calm space for the family to enjoy now, offering a tasteful living area & office area side by side.
“Jane had been recommended to me by a friend as I needed some design inspiration for my living room. Covid had hit & with both myself & my husband having to work from home full time, we needed a home office solution. The only place for it was the long Living Room. For this reason, it had to be something understated and stylish so we didn’t feel like we were always in the office! Jane’s design for the whole area was exactly what we had hoped for and more. Lots of bespoke joinery with very talented trades has made the space feel so much bigger and lighter.
